The carrier band of the bi-metal band saw blade is made of specially alloyed spring band steel. Highly flexible with a hardness of approx. 50 HRC.

HARD AND RESISTANT

Quenched HSS tooth tips in M42 and powder-metallurgical M51 grades ensure maximum wear resistance through a mature

heat treatment and a defined microstructure.

OPTIMALLY BONDED

The carrier band and the HSS flat wire are optimally and permanently bonded using electron beam or laser beam welding processes.

What is a combination tooth arrangement?:

In this type of tooth arrangement, the tooth sequence is designed so that several consecutive teeth are set to the right or left, while only a few teeth (e.g., every 5th, 7th, or 9th tooth) remain straight. This type of arrangement thus includes more cutting tooth corners and fewer clearing tooth tips. The oscillations and vibrations occurring during sawing with constant tooth spacing are reduced by the combination tooth arrangement.
